- "I have been a diabetic for over 15 years, and my diabetes was never really controlled. Then in March this year I had a heart attack, and whilst I was in hospital, the diabetes doctor came to see me and was wonderful. She helped me learn how to manage my diabetes. Then I got to use the TLC system when it was first being trialled, and the TLC phone conversations continued to provide me support to manage my diabetes. The blood glucose meter is very easy to use, and very user-friendly. Giving 'yes' or 'no' responses in the phone conversations made it very simple as well. The information provided in the conversations was good - there was no "beating around the bush", everything was straight to the point, and provided very helpful information.
